As VIBE DevOps, you will define and implement the VIBE desktop, including application container deployment. You will also collaborate with researchers on IT and software engineering tasks and contribute to internal IT infrastructure development. Experience with Linux systems, DevOps, scripting, and Git is required. Familiarity with HPC environments, research software engineering, and Azure is a plus.

PhD position in Structural Microbiology funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation. Starting August 1, 2026. Requires a Master's degree in a relevant life science field and fluency in English. Prior experience in protein biochemistry is preferred.
